Introducing our subscribers to Zeffy!

WMC is moving our ticket platform to the Canadian-owned Zeffy, founded in Montreal in 2016 as a company exclusively for nonprofit organizations.

Zeffy's story started seven years ago when François, one of the co-founders, moved to Québec and wanted to give back. He realized it was surprisingly hard to find volunteer opportunities, so he teamed up with his friend Thibaut to create a platform that made it easy and accessible to volunteer. That was the beginning of Zeffy's mission to help nonprofits for free.

Since then, Zeffy has grown into an all-in-one solution with a whole suite of fundraising tools, making it simple and transparent for nonprofits to connect with donors. The team is now 30 people strong, supporting charities in every state and province in the U.S. and Canada.

Zeffy is wonderfully easy for users, and does not take a cut for ticket purchases. IMPORTANT: There is a donation-to-Zeffy elective that is entirely optional, and patrons are not obliged. Their text reads "Your generosity allows Women's Musical Club of Winnipeg to use Zeffy's 100% free fundraising and emailing platform with unlimited support, making your impact even stronger." This is followed by a percentage suggested by Zeffy. If you do not wish to donate to their organization, simply choose "Other" and leave the box blank. We hope our Centre Stage subscribers and single ticket buyers will find this portal to their liking.
